Technical Writers

Please observe the following criteria before submitting a résumé:

• If you are a graduate of either a recognized Technical Writer's program or possess an English-based university degree, you must have three or more years of documentation experience in a hi-tech environment.
• If you are not a graduate of either a recognized Technical Writer's program or do not possess an English-based university degree, you must have five or more years of documentation experience in a hi-tech environment.
• You must reside in Canada's National Capital Region.
• You must be a 'legal entity,' such as a sole-proprietorship or incorporated business in the Province of Ontario.
• You should have post-secondary certification in a high-tech field, such as software or electronics.
• You should have at least six months of experience as a contractor or sub-contractor.
• You should have an active Enhanced Reliability or Secret security clearance.

Technical Illustrators

Please observe the following criteria before submitting a résumé:

• You must be a graduate of a recognized secondary, or post-secondary program, specializing in mechanical drawing using an assortment of electronic drawing packages, such as:
  • Adobe PhotoShop™,
  • Corel Draw™,
  • Paint Shop Pro™,
  • etc.
• You must reside in Canada's National Capital Region.
• You must be a 'legal entity,' such as a sole-proprietorship or incorporated business in the Province of Ontario.
• You should have an active Enhanced Reliability or Secret security clearance.

Translators

We accept résumés for French language translators only.

Please observe the following criteria before submitting a résumé:

• You must be certified as an English/French translator, by one of the following:
  • Government of Canada,
  • Province of New Brunswick,
  • Province of Ontario, or
  • Province of Quebec.
• You must have two or more years of translation experience, preferably in a hi-tech environment.
• You must reside in Canada's National Capital Region.
• You must be a 'legal entity,' such as a sole-proprietorship or incorporated business in the Province of Ontario.
• You should have at least six months of experience as a contractor or sub-contractor.
• You should have an active Enhanced Reliability or Secret security clearance.
